Larsen Kitchen

It is sooooo small!! We have no cupboard space. The people who lived there before us did a lot of crappy work and it's just junk. There is no workspace and all the appliances are outdated and on their last leg. Our oven barely cooks brownies! Our dishwasher doesn't work right and is pretty worthless. The wallpaper is faded yellow and peeling. All around our place is just worn out!

There is (old)white tile throughout the house--floors, countertops, backsplash and the grout is bad (ugly!). Cabinets are falling apart and are like "shelves" -- open the door and you see the wall. "Cottage cheese" ceiling, outdated light fixtures.

My kitchen needs updating because the countertops and backsplash are tile and pink. Some of the tile is chipped and the grout is getting thinner between the tile. The tile floor is also pink and some of the tiles are coming loose, when you walk on thosr specific tiles you can feel them give underfoot. The cabinets finish is worn and the hinges on the cabinets are broken and some of the drawers are broken to where they can't be used. The appliances Stove & dishwaher are very dated.

When we bought our house we were going to remodel the kitchen but our house was flooded by the flood in 2004 so we had to remodel the basement and all of our back yard so the kitchen has yet to be done. My husband is a fireman in Las Vegas so he is out of town a lot and does not have the time to do this project. A new kitchen would be a wonderful thing

I beleive that my kitchen is the worst because it is so outdated.  The counter tops are old and they are warping in the seams, they have chip out of them and they are ulgy materials and colors.  The cupboards are also outdated.  If you pull on them to hard they fall off the hinges, they are warped and don't close all the way.  The floor has cuts and is tearing up in places.  It is disorganized and needs more sorage space.  I have been wanting to redue my kitchen and being single and out of a job right now it seems that it is not going to happen for a while unless I am fortunate enough to win this contest.  Thank you for the opportunity.

My kitchen is worst because they are “homemade” cabinet with broken and exposed screws with non level shelves. There is tile everywhere including the countertops. Odd and out-of-date lightning. Ugly wallpaper. Wooden siding around and on the cabinets. Hole in the wall and I have placed a garbage can in front of it to hide it. There have been leaks under the sink and the wood it rotted. The cook top is in the island and is not a very desirable place where the kids eat.

Here it is...the pink kitchen. After

two years of marriage, we were just glad to get our own place & not have roommates anymore. We were willing to overlook the crazy looking kitchen in hopes that we would be able to save up money & fix it up soon. Now, with a baby on the way, saving money has become a thing of the past. As you can see from the pictures, the most noticeable thing about this kitchen is the abundance of pink. Not just any pink, though. Somehow, the previous owners or renters have used a striping tool to make pink stripes on the walls. The cabinets are also painted, which makes the only four drawers in the kitchen rather difficult to open & close. It's an odd arrangement with not much usable space, leaving many kitchen items to be stored in nearby rooms, such as the bathroom & even downstairs. The dishwasher is very old & outdated and makes an awful smell each time it is used. In fact, when we first used the dishwasher, it leaked into the downstairs bathroom! One uses the garbage disposal at their own risk as the cover is gone & it splatters everywhere. With everything from stained formica countertops to leaking pipes, this pink

kitchen is definitely due for a makeover!

To me mine is the worst because I have 3 rooms in one. My kitchen, laundry and my dining (and currently my sewing) all share.  It's the last room to have anything done in it.  There has been several projects started and none finished. I've started to refinish cabinets even painting back of counter black, the kitchen has been painted a few times, tile was done as we moved in, it was done too quickly and the floor didn't have time to settle as each layer was added so we have some cracked tiles and grout that need to come out and be replaced. The laundry area needs something I've tried curtains they look bad and can't find doors to fit. We removed some overhead cabinets and would like to replace things there what? The overall layout is not bad but needs some work.  The electrical needs to be updated I have to unplug and plug in my garbage disposal to run it, I can't run the dishwasher and clothes washer at the same time or it pops a fuse in the dishwasher. The cabinets and countertops are original so are the countertops and side door.

My kitchen looks almost identical to your Valpak coupon picture.  The floor was horribly installed Pergo type floor; there is carpet underneath the counter bar area (very svelte) old wall paper and peeling cabinet doors. The space of my kitchen has great potential and it would be the greatest before and after picture!

We have had this kitchen for three years, but since my husband and I both went back to school, we have not had the time or money to renovate. We did replace the old gold fridge, took out florescent overhead lights, and painted the ?natural? plywood cupboards yellow.  We love its view into the back yard. It?s not good to complain, but ? the biggest issues I have with my kitchen stem from it being tired and worn after over 30 years of use:  the ?harvest gold? oven does not keep a regular temperature; only two or three burners, depending on the day, work on the stove top; the stove top vent is rusted and makes a terrible noise when run; the counter top tile is scratched and chipped and has stained grout; the sink enamel is worn off and so the sink must be bleached constantly to unstain it; the linoleum is cracked and has a big hole where a pipe broke and was fixed in the concrete floor (we hide it with a rug).  We would love some HELP!

Our kitchen is 1950's, 60's and stuck in the 70's. Yes, it took them that long to get it finished! The wood cabinets are original; some have been repainted yellow to cover the years of grease from the stove area. The floor originally had indoor / outdoor carpet that smelled of old milk and grease. We had to replace it with the peel & stick tile you see because it was all we could do. The wiring and plumbing are outdated with some exposed wiring runs and plumbing buried in the plaster walls so that we cannot access it.  In order for me to fix some of this, I will have to rip up tile and cut a hole in the floor to get access under the floor. The stove was a "gift" from a neighbor for $50 - the old one smoked! Under the sink is warped wood from getting wet from old bad plumbing, I have replaced what is reachable the rest is still buried in the plaster wall - rusted and leaking drain pipes.

I thought that I had the worst kitchen until I saw all the entries for this contest.  There are a few kitchens that I thought were nicer than my kitchen but many of them are far worse.  I thought about pulling out my entry because I started to feel guilty about complaining about my kitchen. After reviewing the entries, I was grateful to have my kitchen even with the old flooring, the laundry in the kitchen, the cabinet that can't open unless you open the stove first, the cabinets coming apart, etc. But since this contest is by the email votes that mean that the worst kitchen may not really win so I am leaving in my entry. GOOD LUCK TO ALL. Thanks for having the contest!!

I have many things that I would like to change about my kitchen. The lighting is terrible. There is only one small light on the opposite side of where I cook. So, there are under the cabinet lighting all around the cabinets to help out. There are also lights installed in the upper cabinets causing me to not be able to use some of the upper cabinet space. Where the stove is there must have been a fire because there is a big burn mark on the wood, and the side of the fridge also has a big burn mark. The flooring is squares of linoleum that are coming up in random spots. In fact they are installed in the bottom of the cabinets. The cabinets were not built very sturdy. The drawer faces are falling off and the cabinets doors don't shut well. I can't put any food items in the bottom cabinets because it is easy access to mice. I live in an area that I need to be careful of mice so storing food is not easy. I have cabinet space but cannot use it because of the fear of drawing mice. Under the sink is just gross. I have it tied off and don't even open it! The kitchen is not user-friendly at all. I do a lot of baking and cooking and I am only able to work in one corner of the kitchen. I would love to rearrange the space so that I could feel more organized.

To begin with, we have a crevice through the middle of the linoleum that is comparable to the Grand Canyon. Not only is it unsightly, but I'm sure is not a good storage place for all the stray food that finds it's way there. The ants that have decided to take up residence there are fat and happy though. On top of that, the linoleum is going on 16 years and has the wrinkles & age spots to prove it. Some stains just do not come out like the hair color from when my daughter decided to have a friend color her hair and seemed to get more color on the floor & counter than on the hair. The cabinets are a nice shade of dark brown which is a good thing because it hides all the grease & dust that gets caught in between the more than dozen slats on each door. With the exception of our fridge, our appliances are old and don't work well and don't match since we got the fridge. We were hoping to update the stove & dishwasher as well, but haven't had the money. The wallpaper is from the previous owners and is outdated and peeling. Although we replaced the faucet a few years ago, the rubber covering on the spray head has worn off, so the mechanism is now exposed and ugly. I really like to cook, but it is depressing for me to be in my kitchen. Even when it is clean, it doesn't look good and it is hard to maintain. Please help me revitalize what is one of the most important rooms of the house to my family and me.

I have very little counter space, and the counter space that I do have is falling apart, the counter is splitting away from the wood that is supposed to be attached. I dont have a lot of cabinet space which means everything in my kitcen is cluttered. My cabinets are broken and then glued together, and you can see the dripping glue on them. One of my drawers are completely broken off and unusable. I have no table room, my table is right next to the fridge which makes the fridge not open all the way. My table is right next to the back door and since my doors are french doors I cant open them without moving my table and then I cant get into my fridge. Some of the outlets in my kitchen are broken and someone could get shocked really easily. There is a giant hole in the bottom of the wall which bugs go in and out, and since its really dark in the hole I can't see them which means I have to constantly spray the hole so no bugs can come in. My sink has been broken many times but every time it gets fixed it starts to leak and it doesnt smell to good. The tap water makes my family sick, and so we a have spring water dispenser, but to get to it we have to squeeze past our table to get to it, cause there is no where else to put it. The flooring is starting to peel up, it gets dented really easily and the fourteen almost fifteen years we have lived here its pretty bad, and really hard to clean. Our appliances dont work very well, our freezer doens't make ice, so living in southern Utah its really difficult, and so we have to go and buy the ice. Our dishwasher is fairly new and it has been giving us problems from day one, and it doesnt clean our dishes very well leaving spots of food on them that wasnt there before. My bedroom is right next to the kitchen which gives me no privacy what so ever, and since my kitchen is so small I can hear everyone walk in and out of it all night, when my husband and I are trying to sleep. My pantry is fairly small which makes everything cluttered to the point where I have to search for what I want. My pantry and basement doors are right next to each other so they cant be open at the same time or they collide and it makes dents in the door. I would like to see my kitchen be remodeled, because it would give my family and I more time to spend at the dinner table without being so squished, and I would like to see a safe enviroment in my kitchen with out being disturbed by these problems.

This kitchen not built to be family friendly. At any given time there can be no more than 2 people in there and still be able to move around. There is hardly any counter space, a little here and a little there does no good when you are tring to cook. The stove in the cupboard is very small not even big enough for a average size cookie sheet. It requires a smaller size of everything to fit and have the door closed. It could be compared to an easy bake oven. The countertops are tile and a very bad job at that. The grout is coming out and the edge of the counter is wood. Not a good combination. The sink is white ceramic and very hard to clean and always stained. There isn't a backsplash anywhere along the counters or by the sink. The dishwasher usually has to be run twice to get the dishes clean and leaks somewhere between the main floor and basement while it drains. Underneath the kitchen sink is all rote and can't have anything stored under there because of the rote. The only place the fridge can be put makes inpossible for anyone to come into the kitchen if the door is open. The tile floor is stain and the grout is uncleanable nad plenty of the tiles are broken. There is more space for the kitchen but i guess they opted to have it as unused space. The cupboards are a pink wood, very outdated, and not even enough to hold all the stuff for the kitchen. There is no food pantry so I had to buy a cheap build it yourself cupboard from wal-mart for a pantry, which of course does not match. We would love to remodel the kitchen but can't because I can't work due to an Back injury from a car accident. A kitchen that is more family friendly would be great help for our family.

My house was built in the 30's and the kitchen has been the victim of several low-budget renovations. The cabinets have been poorly painted, don't stand up to scrubbing, and slant downward on one wall. The refrigerator has no handle and can't open entirely due to the impractical cabinet layout. The white tile counter tops aren't grouted properly, so food stains the grout and it has to be bleached clean almost daily. I have tile floors that are not sealed or grouted well. The color of my grout range from white to black. The tiles are layed crooked and the floor sinks and rises in several places. There are floating shelves instead of cabinets in part of the kitchen which leaves the shelf's contents exposed. There is enough square footage in my kitchen to have a practical working space, but because of the poor lay out, all I have is wasted space.

It is very mismatched, the once beautiful wood cupboards have turned yellow, the walls are no longer white, the counters are stained and broken. The fridge is borrowed from my son due to ours breaking. It doesn't fit, making it impossible to open it all the way. The sink has permanent water damage and rust. The dishwasher doesn't work, and the wooden floors are warped and lifting. Our kitchen table is the worst of it all. It has been a part of the home since day one. It is covered in crayons, markers, paint and the love from many children. My kitchen has seen many adventures. Much love has gone into the meals prepared there as we spent time as a family. As our family moves on to new things, I would like to make some much needed improvements to the home we will continue to use as the center of our family traditions. Ever since we were first married and moved into the house my wife has wanted to completely remodel the kitchen. We've done a few small changes over the years, but we've never been able to do anything major. We have always talked about it but never felt like it was something that we could realistically do, mainly because we felt the minimal funds we had were needed to aid in raising our 4 wonderful children. My wife has worked hard all these years and she has done an amazing job of making this little house a home for our family. In hopes to give something back to her for all she has done for me and our children, I have chosen to enter our kitchen in the contest. She will testify that it is the Worst Kitchen and is in desperate need of a remodel.
Why it is the worst kitchen:
-There is not enough space. When I designed the house after my mission 30 years ago I put the small dining area and kitchen in the same room. It's a pretty tight fit. We've thought about how nice it would be to move the dining area elsewhere and making it one big kitchen, but don't know how to make the space work right. There is very little cupboard space. My wife always says that I built this house for a bachelor to live in, not a family. Many of the cabinets are falling apart. Three of them are missing doors. Most have the paint chipping. They used to be brown, but we once had a small kitchen fire that ruined some of the cabinets and we couldn't afford new cupboards so we just painted them solid white. There is very little working space or counter top. The old Harvest Gold colored counter from 30 years ago is chipping off, sometimes in large sections. The appliances aren't exactly what you would call brand new, but they're ok. The wallpaper is tearing off. There's one section of wall by the back door in that has a hole that matches the door handle. About 15 years ago my two oldest boys came running into the house. The door flew open and gave the door handle a matching hole. I fixed it once, but it didn't take them long to put it back to its holey (not so holy) state. The sink has been put to good use. It's the original metal sink, scratched and stained from about 30 years of good use. The faucet is worn out. The grout between the floor tile seems impossible to clean. Of course, we have a lot of great memories in that kitchen, but we wouldn't be saddened at all to see it have a face lift and a tummy tuck.

No other house can claim "The Worst Kitchen" than my 28 yr old never remodeled one. It has withered the storm of old age, children, and great children.Consequently, it has lost all its sparkle, color, fashion, glamour and is now in a sad state of dormancy, waiting for a fairy godmother from Protrait Kitchen to wave its magic wand to update the original warped linoleum floor, chipped formica countertops, florescent lights, chipped and almost faded almond appliances of which the dishwasher is inoperable, and the dreaded popcorn ceiling. Also, the sun bleached and scratched up unattractive cabinets as well as the caked lime hugging sink and faucet. Make this the "The Worst Kitchen" claim and look no further.

Our kitchen is the worst kitchen for several reasons. It is the original yellow mustard color. The window was removed for an addition making the room dark. The stove is on the island that makes it difficult to function with children. The overhead cabinets are so low that you constantly hit your head when working on the very limited counter space. We are in the kitchen lots with so many children and it is very frustrating. The grout is stained and a couple of the tiles are broken. There are no baseboards in the kitchen. Some of the cupboards will not stay closed and the drawers fall off the tracks easily. The list goes on and on there really is no hope for this kitchen it needs to completely be replaced.

My kitchen is the worst because it's a design nightmare. It's only 8x12", there's almost no counter, cupboard or storage space and only a very narrow walkway between the fridge & the counter. I entertain constantly, that walkway is a traffic bottleneck...you have to move people to get through. The previous owner left cigarette burns on the countertops, the 25 yr. old fridge has duct tape for door shelf barriers, and because of the horrible design, only a small card table will fit in the kitchen. The layout of the kitchen is horrible. We have to squeeze between the stove and the cabinets to get into some of our cabinets. The countertops have been a mess since we moved in, so we ended up painting them to hide the ugly and now the paint looks horrible. There are laminate peel and stick squares on the floor, but they have long lost their stick. They are peeling up at the corners. There is particle board flooring underneath the vinyl that has had water leaked on it and has swollen so the floor is lumpy. The cabinets are old stick-built cabinets that no longer shut right. We have to slam them. None of the cabinets match. And just the other day, our fridge door handle broke off. :(

Welcome to our cave... er... kitchen. When my husband and I purchased this home as newlyweds the kitchen cabinets were a very dark, dingy wood. That combined with the dropped ceiling, scary florescent lighting, closed-in floor plan, tiny window, and mismatched, dated appliances made for an oppressive place to be. We tried to remedy that with some light paint and managed only to turn our cave into a radioactive nightmare. We OBVIOUSLY need professional help to choose colors, open up the floor plan, and remedy the countless physical defects of peeling laminate floor tiles, badly hung and broken cabinets, warping and stained yellow formica countertops, etc. Our kitchen is definitely the worst because it has so much potential to be a spacious, happy heart of our growing family's home, but instead tends to be avoided like the radioactive hazard it appears to be.

Our kitchen is SO old! I think it is original to the house. We have flowered Formica counter tops, cabinets you have to duck to see under, and 60's style cabinet knobs. We just moved in at the first of the year, and I think we are using one of the very first Microwaves ever built. It took us a very long time to figure out how to use it. It is built in, so we are just waiting for it to die before we begin the task of finding one that will fit hole. I don't mind the layout of the kitchen, and there is plenty of storage, but I think a lot of the space is wasted because we have several cabinets that are left empty. I would love to take some of them out and open it up a little. The kitchen equipment/appliances do not match, we have black, white, cream, and brown all in one space. We have rubber baseboards/trim that are partially coming off and leaves sticky stuff on our floors. We have to push it back into place every couple of days. We are in desperate need of major Make-over help!

The linoleum floor has cracks in it the sink is very old and rusting, leaks and the handles fall off. The shelving is very old and has some mold. There is no disposer or dishwasher. There is a hole under the sink that leaks water and we always need to collect the water and throw it away. Food Preparation space is very limited and it is hard to organize even for just a toaster and microwave. Our stove has no fan so the greasy air collects on the ceiling. The wall near the stove is always collecting grease. The stove is also too close to the refrigerator. Our chairs are broken and the upholstery is ripped on most of the pieces.

Our house was built in the 40s and has been added on and attempted to be remodeled at least three times. My husband got bored one day and ripped down our recessed lighting, so now the only light we have is from a lamp in the window. The oven was moved so we could open our cabinets, and therefore, the fridge got bumped to the next wall. We have a clear plastic backsplash to protect our beautiful wallpaper and don't let your eyes fool you... that's carpet, not tile!

Our kitchen was built in 1970 and is all original except for we put vinyl in 15 years ago. It is pulling up on all sides. We put it on top of the original floor. The counter top is original formica and is yellow. The sink is original and is also yellow, to match the formica. The cabinets are original and dark stain. The oven is original. The counter is cracked and burnt around the stovetop. The fan over stovetop has not worked for years. There is no room for a microwave, it sits in a corner. There is no counter space. The bar is a collect-all for other appliances. We have added storage cabinets for more storage and a shelf to put things on. We have little space for a table and hard to entertain for company. No where to expand a table or sit for company. There are two closets, but they are so deep with shelves, things get buried in them. We have a staircase that runs along the kitchen, so it limits the space where the table is. The wall behind the staircase is dark wood paneling. The back door is original with window in top part. There are not enough outlets, so we had to add a long power outlet under the cupboard. We have grey carpet in dining area and gets very dirty all the time.

My kitchen & dining room are in the same room. My cabinet space is limited. Need new cabinets. I have indoor outdoor carpet in kitchen, need something different. My mobile home was built in 70's and very outdated. Would like to divide the kitchen area from living room area. I have no counter space in kitchen, not very many cupboards, so my storage is in another room. The sink is original and needs to be replaced. Fridge is very old. Oven does not work. Countertop is old and outdated. I would love to have a wood floor.

I am submitting this on behalf of my wife. If anyone deserves a new kitchen it is her. She takes so much pride in making homemade meals for the kids and me and does it despite having a very old, outdated and literally falling apart kitchen. All my co-workers are always jealous of the lunches I bring because she always makes sure there are leftovers or she throws something together for me. The drawers are broken and don't slide well. The dishwasher moves all over the place because the screws that hold it in keep tearing out of the counter. The counter is split and water is always getting down in the cabinets{don't ask-I have 4 kids!}.She tried to clean the kitchen when we moved in a few years ago but they were so bad you couldn't tell she worked for days on them. Unfortunately, I can't afford a new kitchen and even though our silverware has to sit on the counter because of a broken drawer, and she has to always rinse out the pots before she uses them because of the wood shavings that fall into them from the drawer above, she almost never complains. If I could will her to win I would. It would make her life to have a new and efficient kitchen. She would be happy with just new cabinets. She specifically chose a career which she can do part-time and from home so she could make sure the kids were eating healthy and that she was home during the summer and after school so she can make sure they have healthy snacks. I am sure there are many other deserving moms/women who would love to have a new kitchen, but in my biased opinion my wife deserves it the most.
Thank you for considering her. And thank you for doing the contest it is a great idea to give someone something that will mean so much and still do some great advertisement.

When the home was built the kitchen was very nice for its time. Since then it has become out dated. Holes and bubbling in the counter tops, cupboard handles and doorknobs are missing, wall paper pealing off the walls, oven doesnÕt work to full capacity, and knobs have been broken on the stove. The kitchen window has been replaced but never finished off, so that insulation and pipes show. This home was designed by the original home owner, and built by a very reputable contractor. Our family gathers in the kitchen and we would like it to be a place where everyone can enjoy.

It is ugly, and not very functional, some of the drawers and cabinets and appliances are broken. I have to pour water into the dishwasher for it to work. The original owners of the home, cut corners on everything possible. My house deserves better, I deserve better, but I just haven't been able to afford to do it.

RAN OUT OF DUCT TAPE...NEED TO REMODEL. Baseboards missing or broken. Linoleum in cracked, broken and ugly...we call it the Fred Flintstone Floor. (Did Fred have duct tape back then?) Most drawers don't slide open very well and ALL are scratched and dented. Micro hood couldn't be installed because of the layout of the kitchen. Very old range & oven...very used! Sink is 6" deep...not the right size for the kitchen. Lighting is very poor after dark. Paint is peeling in areas. Dishwasher is cracked inside and leaks. Constant bug problem due to old and poor construction. Color scheme is 70's style and doesn't match the rest of the house.

We have 5 people in our family at home now who all love to cook. We have a lot of stuff and it is very hard to organize things in this very small kitchen. The kitchen is 30 years old and has never been remodeled. The yellow formica counter tops absorb stains that can not be cleaned off. I do like the bright cheerful yellow color, but there are also places where there are some deep knicks, a 3 inch diameter burn mark and a place where an edge has caved in. The stove top is not usable because the burners don't work. All of the burner turn knobs are broken off. They cannot be replaced because the steel fittings have cracked off and worn at the corners. So, it is unusable. We are currently using portable burners on top of the stove. The very old dishwasher was put in crookedy and only heat sanitizes. The dishes have to be totally cleaned before putting them in. The turn switch for the garbage disposal doesn't work. So, we have to be careful to not get food in the sinks. The sinks are both very small. The cupboard doors have some deep gouges here and there. The wood stain has worn off in many places, handles are getting loose and breaking in two or just coming off. There is a tall storage cupboard from floor to ceiling at the end of the kitchen with four 1-3 ft. high X 1 foot wide shelves that go 3 feet deep in. The frame has come loose and is about to fall off with the cupboard doors with it. On the shelves, everything in front has to be taken out in order to access anything in the back. There are also two corner cupboards that go 3 feet in and behind the cupboards next to them. You have to again take all the front stuff out and use a spatula to pull the back stuff to the front to access anything. The linoleum floor is seriously bending, cracking and peeling back away under the fridge. There are lots of deep knicks and stains in the flooring that don't come out. The walls have a very bumpy white paint that is impossible to clean. There are splatters and stains on the walls that don't come out. There is usually very little counter space when we are trying to prepare food. We pull out a bread board that is above some drawers to use as a counter when there is no space left. It has pieces of wood that have come off and it is splitting in layers at the ends making it difficult to pull out and put back in when cleaned. Other times, we use the dining room table. We make all our meals from scratch and have various needed appliances that take up a lot of counter space. Inside all the cupboards are just plain shelves with no special organizational helps. My family would love to pursue their cooking interests in a more functional and usable kitchen. It would be nice to have more efficient cupboards, a stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal that work and surfaces that are easy to clean and everything looking in good shape. Thank you for the opportunity to dream!

Years back we had a kitchen fire that ruined our paint, appliances and some of our cabinets. My husband planned to remodel, however, he was diagnosed with ALS and passed away. I was left with medical bills and children still at home. Between the two, the kitchen was put on the backburner. I have no handle on my microwave due to an epileptic daughter that pulled it off during one her seizures. The tile does not extend throughout the entire kitchen and there is mold growing where there was a leak from my refrigerator. My pantry is the least desirable especially since the shelves are bowing down and I am afraid they will collapse. There is not enough counter space to do anything and where there is counter it is chipped and stained. The yellow sink is extremely outdated and dishwasher barely works. My children still live in town and I would like my kitchen to be a place where I can make cookies with my grandchildren and feel as if they are in a sanitary environment. All I want is a place for my family to gather and for me to be proud of.
