"The clients that have been the most satisfied with my services and products have been those turn into a turnkey operation.
It is hard to put a value on complete project management. The client just contacts me for any dilemmas or questions about the project, and I do any or all the research they may need to bring it all together.
But, it is very important to me to make sure that the final concept to the project is the same in my mind as it is in theirs. Doublecheck, confirm, verify, and put it in writing are great habits"
"I break kitchen and
bathroom design projects
into three areas.
1. Functional layout
2. Appropriate texture
3. Corresponding color
Helping each client to
prioritize their needs and
wants helps to keep the
complete project in
perspective."

Services
Consultation
Providing a complimentary consultation helps both the client and the designer to put the overall expectations of the project into perspective. This is a great time for the two parties to begin to develop what may become a long term relationship. From here is where the determination may be made to enter into a design contract.
|
Design
This is where the most important decision making takes place. Without a thorough and well planned design, the projects level of balance, function, and aesthetics are jeopardized. This is where layout, textures, and colors are chosen. Safety, storage capacities, space utilization, and individual users needs are all addressed. All of this information is then clearly communicated by plans and specification sheets for the client and contractors reference.
|
Investment Consideration
It is difficult to design the kitchen without considering the cost of materials and labor and how to plan a budget. In order to keep your costs under control, your total project costs will be evaluated and anticipated in detail to assist in realistic financial planning for the upcoming project. By carefully balancing the costs in relation to the industry practices, you will get the most return possible on your investment.
|
Product Research
Each project demands different products or maybe different uses of the same product, and sometimes demands extra consideration for safety and long term use requirements. Some products are recommended in some settings and some are not. This level of homework helps to reduce the risks and concerns of the client and their usage of the products.
|
Product Supply
As the design is planned, products, and colors available in those product lines are decided. The following products may be sold for the project:
Cabinetry
Appliances
Countertops
Flooring
Plumbing
Lighting
Wall Coverings
Hardware
Accessories.
Whether these are supplied by local distribution or directly from the manufacturer, the complete material needs for a kitchen or bathroom project may be met.
|
Project Management
Implementation of the Design can be very time consuming. This is where the designer and contractor maintain close communication on the nuts and bolts of the design and materials. Clarification on intentions and solutions to unforeseen problems are all a part of project management.
